Dr Jessica Tang is a HK and UK trained clinical psychologist. She has worked at a variety of clinical settings, including private clinics, outpatient community health centres and public hospital. Apart from the accumulated experiences of serving the local populations with various mental health difficulties, she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to receive training at the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (NTW) NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest mental health and disability services in the UK, serving the adult clinical populations in a secondary care setting. These priceless experiences give her improved sensitivity to work with individuals from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
Dr Tang treats older children, adolescents and adults who suffer from mild to severe psychological distresses due to conditions, such as stress and maladjustment, life transitions difficulties, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation, trauma-related difficulties (especially in relation to bullying and abuse), personality difficulties, identity-related issues, searching for life meaning/purpose. Dr Tang is particularly interested in trauma work, helping individuals who show difficulties or distortions in their self-concept, personality development, emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships as a result of attachment trauma or complex relational trauma.
Apart from running her own clinic, Dr Tang works part-time with Sanatology Health. She also collaborates with the Centre of Adolescent Mental Health Prevention and Intervention, Christian Family Service Centre to provide psychological services and professional training to its service users. In addition to clinical work, Dr Tang is currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Centre of Buddhist Studies, the University of Hong Kong.
Dr Tang is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the regulatory body in the UK, and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a member of the Hong Kong Association of Doctors in Clinical Psychology (HKADCP), and a member of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute Professional Association (SPIPA).

鄧聿琪博士是一位接受香港和英國訓練的臨床心理學家。 她曾在各種臨床環境中工作,包括私人機構,精神健康綜合社區中心和公立醫院。 除了為有各種心理健康問題的本地市民服務外,她有幸到英國 Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (NTW) NHS Foundation Trust 所屬的二级醫療服務 (secondary care)中接受訓練,而該公立醫院更是全國最大的心理健康和殘疾服務之一。這些寶貴的經驗使她與不同語言和文化背景的人進行心理治療的敏感度大大提高。
鄧博士治療有輕度至嚴重心理困擾的年長兒童,青少年和成年人。這些導致心理困擾的因素,如: 壓力與調整問題,生活轉變的相關困難,人際關係問題,焦慮,抑鬱,自殘與自殺念頭,創傷及相關疾患 (尤其與欺凌和虐待有關),性格障礙,自我認同的相關困難和尋找生活意義/目的。鄧博士對心理創傷的相關工作特別感興趣,幫助因依附關係創傷或復雜性創傷而導致在自我概念、人格發展、情緒調節及人際關係有障礙的人。
鄧博士除了私人執業外,還在Sanatology Health 執業。她同時與基督教家庭服務中心轄下的青少年精神健康推廣及治療中心合作,為其服務使用者提供臨床心理服務及專業培訓。另外,鄧博士現為助理講師任教於香港大學的佛學研究中心。
鄧博士為英國 (HCPC) 註冊臨床心理學家、英國特許心理學家、香港臨床心理學博士協會會員及SPIPA會員 。
